Re: Birds of Feather/Ornithology
I can't wait for next year to start. I feel like next year will be my most successful year. I just want the rules to come out!

Re: Birds of Feather/Ornithology
I googled some stuff up on this event:
Ohio Science Olympiad - Trial Event - Ornithology - 2009
Animal Diversity Web - Aves
Introduction to Bird Species and Ornithology
Science Olympiad, National Bird List (I have no clue about the year of this list)
I'll keep adding to this as I find stuff.

Re: Birds of Feather/Ornithology
That's a lot of info! The list that you posted said in the link that it was Ornithology 2009, so I'm guessing that's Ohio's list.

Re: Birds of Feather/Ornithology
Oh boy... The lists actually look pretty long, but I guess it's just an illusion because it goes down to the species insead of just genus or family.
When I opened it I was like "DANG! Three pages?!" It looked way longer then A&R's but it only contains around 75 species (I think).

Re: Birds of Feather/Ornithology
Probably. Does anybody know of any good field guides? I imagine the one in the rules will be good, but do you know which one might be it?robotman09 wrote:i think the lists and rules will generally be the same

Re: Birds of Feather/Ornithology
Looks to me like 125...should be harder than A+R.
For field guides, the Sibley one looks good, but I don't think it has ID in it. Peterson/Audobon will probably be good.
