Making "Location" a state
I think it would be very helpful if you needed to add a state to your location, even if you could add other things, but having a state would minimize confusion when people say what places they got and/or cooresponding scores to get those places, since for instance an 800 efficiency bridge might win a non-competitive state in Elevated Bridge, but in a competitive state, it might take a 1800 to win.

You can already do that in you locationhaven chuck wrote:I think it would be very helpful if you needed to add a state to your location, even if you could add other things, but having a state would minimize confusion when people say what places they got and/or cooresponding scores to get those places, since for instance an 800 efficiency bridge might win a non-competitive state in Elevated Bridge, but in a competitive state, it might take a 1800 to win.
<--- see just put the abreviation, the problem is that some people don't like to tell where they are from and just put something vague or Europa or something like that.

Even if they want to be private, could we at least make people say the state? You could have extra space for a school if they want to, but I agree that making everyone say state would be helpful.

I agree that it would be nice to have everyone put state in their location.

I realize that you can, but i mean making it mandatory to say a state, like having a drop down list to choose from, and then maybe leaving space for a school

You can't force people to reveal their location, some people are really paranoid bout this stuff.haven chuck wrote:I realize that you can, but i mean making it mandatory to say a state, like having a drop down list to choose from, and then maybe leaving space for a school

I understand that, and if they are that paranoid, then they can just lie about it.starpug wrote:You can't force people to reveal their location, some people are really paranoid bout this stuff.haven chuck wrote:I realize that you can, but i mean making it mandatory to say a state, like having a drop down list to choose from, and then maybe leaving space for a school

It would be better to have a "undisclosed" option or something, but some people would add it if reminded/ urged tostarpug wrote:Then how does that help or even make it any different?gyourkoshaven wrote:I understand that, and if they are that paranoid, then they can just lie about it.starpug wrote: You can't force people to reveal their location, some people are really paranoid bout this stuff.
