So far, I've focused on the powders/liquids/metals. My partner has done all the other stuff- fibers, hairs, physical evidence, etc. In truth, Div C Forensics scares me a little with its complexity.dholdgreve wrote:In Division C Forensics, it's a major portion of the analysis, better get used to them!

Re: Crimebusters?
I don't think you are as scared of the event as you are the "unknown." In many ways, Forensics is much easier than Crime Busters! In Forensics, there are no mixtures, no metals, and no liquids. There are a few more powders and a few more indicators, but those are easily reconciled with a slightly more detailed dichotimous key, right? As for physical evidence, there are several areas that are not part of Crimebusters, including glass refraction, blood typing, "bugs," and bullets, to name a few. I think your partner may have a harder time than you!

Re: Crimebusters?
Well, next year I'll be leaving my partner in B Division, so it will be someone else. I probably won't just be sticking with powders.

Re: Crimebusters?
On the unofficial events list for next year, it says "SCB (env. chem. topic)." Any thoughts on how this would work?

Re: Crimebusters?
It would most likely be something to do with someone leaving evidence of a crime in soil and water, and then you would test the water and soil for chemical nutrients.

Re: Crimebusters?
Although, it might be a gas release at the crime, as supposedly they were going to alternate the enviro chem topic every year, between soil and air.

Re: Crimebusters?
Or maybe something with water testing, since that is also enviro. chem.
