It isn't like New York, Ohio, Cali, or some of the other mega-states where you have a bunch of great teams, so not in that sense. I have not judged outside of Indiana and Kentucky, so my perspective is limited.
KY C teams are usually like 25th to 30th at nationals overall with one or two top ten events. My year (well, one of them) we got a 3rd and a 2nd ;).

wow...i really doubt I'm going to do that good at states.
