Yeah good job to everyone at state- i was a little dissapointed that we missed nationals by 3 points and getting first at state by 5 but my team this year was all brand new to science olympiad (Except for one person who did it last year in Ohio) so we will all be back next year .
Also, good job to Woodcreek Jr. High who got 8th place and this was their first time ever doing science olympiad (The school opened brand new this year)

She's absolutely right. GREAT job to Kealing and Kelly Lane on making it to National!!! I'm kind of disappointed we didn't make it. Oh well.

robotman09-WOW! You did awesome! I never knew it was possible to get that many medals.

2win - Great job to you, too. That's absolutely amazing for your first year.

Most of our team will be back next year, except for a girl who can't compete, but WILL coach. See you all next year! There might be a brand new national qualifier. (either Beckendorff or Riverwood, and possibly Woodcreek!)

Wow, LASA is a good team! 38 points total at states!

But that's insane. 38 points in a state as competitive as TX? If LASA can do that, they're up there with the elite teams. I can't even imagine that happening in PA. Last year our winner got 76 points and we thought that was amazing!

yeah- i am honestly shocked by that. I knew that LASA was good, i just didn't expect them to be that good. personally, i think that they are going to do really well at nationals in may. i don't think that last year when the won state they got anywhere close to what they got this year

last year LASA got a score of 88 at state meaning that we more than halved our score.
