I know her political opinions are controversial nowadays but what Valentina Lisitsa says about Schubert sonatas is completely on point - I've never seen a better explanation.

1. U Chicago
2. Bucknell

4. Old Dominion
5. Marietta
I don't remember what colleges sent me the most mail but I do remember receiving some very nice books (not pamphlets, books) from a couple Ivy League institutions. I don't remember what was in them necessarily, I think just a lot of recruitment pictures and other irrelevant junk.

It's not just the forums that are getting deserted these days. A lot of people don't even check their emails anymore... It feels like everything is on social media now.

any (obvious) thoughts on ads for ad remover? it's what middle school english teachers should be teaching as irony

Also why does spell check think I misspelled "English"

Because it is.

I do check my email every day, though :) It's oddly satisfying.

Admittedly, people not checking their emails has been a thing for a very very long time. If nothing else, most emails are just junk nowadays. I rarely receive anything of actual importance in my personal email, it's almost entirely just promotions and occasionally receipts or bills. People haven't sent and received actual correspondence through email since the mid 2000s.

Even in college I've found that a lot of people just do not check their university emails for whatever reason. I don't understand that--that's where all the stuff that actually matters to me goes. I check my university email every day but I still try to check my personal email every couple days just to make sure I don't miss something important that slips through the cracks.
