The storekeeper laughs when Poonda stops screaming. He ends Poonda’s suffering and shoves a knife in their midriff. Poonda is now dead.

The next clue will be posted on September 9th.

Confirmed from the Discord thread: The officer clue will be posted in a few minutes, and September 9th is the kill clue.

This assassinator seems to be really focused on killing officers...is there a reasoning for this, any motive, or is it a trap?
Oh well, the game's early, can't be guessing and I'm not good with ciphers, so, I guess we'll have to wait and see

Those are just my thoughts so far...I definitely agree with the previous posts that the assassinator is definitely somewhat active on discord. I'll keep my eyes peeled

Chenfu’s washing the blue fabric and the clothes when someone enters the laundromat. The stranger pops a pill of what seems to be a lutein supplement into her mouth. A bluebird chirps eerily in the distance. It’s awfully silent tonight.

“Good evening, young miss!” The woman beams as she searches her pockets for spare change to insert into the machine. “Ah…it seems to be that I forgot some coins. Do you have any to spare, by any chance?”

Chenfu shrugs and hands the women 7 coins. The women thanks her.

As Chenfu’s load finishes washing and she unloads it, the women watches.

The next clue will be posted on September 12th.

The kill will happen on September 14 at 9:40 CST.

Status update: this game isn't permanently dead! Sassy has stated on Discord that they have been "swamped with school" and so haven't been able to actively run the game, but they still respond to messages and intend to un-hiatus the game once they get their workload sorted out. please do so this storyline is so cool
The Discord channel log is up-to-date in the meantime, but the Tampermonkey script is now breaking for some reason so I'll need to figure out how to fix my archival method for once activity starts back up again

HEY HEY WHO WANTS TO DO A SILLY LITTLE SIDE GAME?? I've been talking with Rooni who's been talking to the sassy who says they'll be able to resume this game over winter break. But in the meantime, how about we fire up a low-stakes side game? Scioly Assassination 166.5 let's go
Message me or Rooni if you're interested in being sassy here! Don't feel like you have to have 'enough' experience to run this, the vibe is intentionally unserious and I'm happy to help with game running/clue writing. The game will end on December 23rd if it hasn't already by then.
Here's a draft of the rules that'll be run:

1. Anyone can protect, but only a maximum of 3 protects per clue will be accepted. Anyone can also accuse (as long as accusations are avaliable), but the accusation requires another person to support it in order for it to count. A person can accuse or support on the same clue they protect, but only one of each category per clue.
2. The Mini-Assassinator will post clues on the Scioly.org forums which point to their next victim. Each clue will last either 72 hours, after which the Mini-Assassinator will kill. Kills may come earlier if all protects are given before 72 hours. Clues may be linked to on the Discord game thread, but must not originate from there.
3 1/2. The Mini-Assassinator will not have access to the Assassinator Discord and forums accounts; it's up to them if they want to either make throwaway accounts, or just send all their post materials for LittleMissNyan for her to post.
4. Any events (deaths, incorrect accusations, etc.) in this side game will not affect anything in the game mechanics of the full Scioly Assassination 166 game. Lore cannonicity is entirely dependent on what Assassinator 166 decides to adopt.
5. Once "killed" a user may not assist with any clues nor post about the identity of the assassinator. A mild bit of trolling is acceptable, as long as no personal boundaries are crossed.
6. The Mini-Assassinator may continue to post with their true account, and may provide hints there.
7. Protecting someone from a kill clue uses the following template: "I protect [name] because [reasoning]." This reasoning must be in its entirety, eg. no "I protect because of the discussion on Discord". Post this message in the forums thread only; protects given on Discord will be disregarded.
8. The game starts with 1 accusation avaliable. An additional accusation will be earned from each correct protection. Accusations can be used by anyone, as long as somone else supports the accuse. Incorrectly accused people are not killed, so they may still participate in clue solving.
9. Accusing someone of being the Mini-Assassinator uses the following template: "I accuse [name] because [reasoning]." Supporting an accusation uses the template "I support [name]'s accusation of [name] because [agreement/reasoning]." Reasonings must be in their entirety, eg. no "I accuse because of the conversation on Discord". Post these messages in the forums thread only; accusations on Discord will be disregarded.
11. If the Assassinator does not reply with a clue in 48 hours after their last clue expires, AND the maximum of 3 protects have been made, 2 accusations will be made avaliable. These do not expire.
12. The game will end either on December 23rd 2023, once the number of kills and incorrect accusations combined reaches 5, or when the Mini-Assassinator is correctly accused. The Mini-Assassinator will win if the 5 kills/incorrect accuses are made, the players will win if they correctly accuse, and the game will end in a tie if the clock runs out.
13. The Mini-Assassinator reserves the right to modify these rules as they deem necessary.

- Chenfu -> Chinese word? -> "沉浮" ="ups and downs" according to Google Translate (my chinese is Bad so I'm just taking that at face value) -> birds fly up and down? Also could refer to Air Trajectory, Flight, Roller Coaster, Ornithology events
- interesting article here thanks google lutein is "the most common carotenoid used by birds" and is associated with birdsong rate- "A bluebird chirps eerily in the distance" bro needs to take more lutein

Someone Who Is Clearly Not Me Because I Am Not An Officer should protect RBScioly aka BlueRobin because he is associated with blue, birds, and blue birds (but not necessarily bluebirds). He also knows Chinese, and a Chinese translation for Chenfu is apprently "ups and downs" which is how a bird moves when it flies. Lutein is also connected to rate of birdsong in birds, and a lutein supplement could up the rate of "chirp[ing] eerily" into full birdsong.
