Re: Your Daily Random Comment
pumptato you could do worse. I could somehow kill mint three times in a row ... i can do most other things though. As for the cactus, I suspect you were watering it too much?? i didn't know watering cactuses was a thing

Re: Your Daily Random Comment
I'm not sure actually, might've been too much sun(was a moon cactus).
I pretty much quit on plants after that. If you can't keep a cactus alive then... :/

Keep trying! That one actually looks quite flattering considering how easy cactuses should be ... maybe start making things you grow edible as a motivator? that works for me

Don't worry, I've killed many succulents in my day. It just takes practice to be able to listen to them and know how to take care of them.

It's Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 2 Movement 1. And yes I use wikipedia for music, you can make fun of that all you want.

Re: Your Daily Random Comment
Wha- That's possible?
Do you get ads? I despise Spotify(timed it once. two ads, anywhere from 30sec to 2 minutes long IN BETWEEN EVERY SONG. DEPLORABLE 0/10 I only use it for the Discord status also oh my god it doesn't let you choose songs or make playlists without adding its own "recommendations" okay my rant on Spotify is over). I use YT with an adblocker on my laptop but that's not really convenient on a phone...
Guys go listen to zutomayo immediately!!!

Wikipedia works for 50% of the music I want to listen to. Some examples:

Re: Your Daily Random Comment
Howdy to all my forums warriors out there! I've got some neat stuff cookin' in the pipeline but it might be a minute before it's done stewing so for now I'll drop a couple questions in here. Why do you all stay active on the Scioly.org forums? What makes them fun, and why do you keep using them when we've got so much other cool stuff on the site?
Alternatively, why do you think people don't use the forums as much? Is there anything you think we can do to keep people coming back?

Re: Your Daily Random Comment
Why do I keep coming back?
Not sure why I keep coming back. Might be because this site carried me this season and I want to give back to it somehow? (especially the flight coaches oh my gosh you guys saved me so much THANK YOU)
Why are the forums fun?
Not sure if they're fun anymore because no one is on here anymore. The people made it fun.
Why aren't as many people on the forums?
Possibly the decline of SciOly nationwide. Much less participation and the quality of competition has significantly lowered. There's just less interest in things like forums(I see the same decline in Hip Pocket Aeronautics, and I'm very sad) and SO. I suppose some conversation has moved to the Discord.
As someone who's losing interest in SO, it comes mostly from my team. We are not close-knit and most people don't care about the competition, to put it bluntly. Of course, this doesn't apply to everyone-just wanted to add my experiences as a member of an average team. We don't go to nationals and SO is essentially resume padding. It feels like forced work, not like fun.
Well that was a negative comment... I did try to make it honest. I really do appreciate everything you do for the forums Jasp
I also wish the forums were like they used to be, and that I could help somehow.
