Re: Tentative 2024 Events
This is my first time seeing the old events come back into the cycle, and its giving me nostalgia to think back to my sixth grade year and thinking how crazy some of these events to little me. Guess I am going to have to change my signature now lol.
Waiting for the return of Ecology all by myself

Re: Tentative 2024 Events
Can't wait till the rules manual is released! I'm impatient for Towers rules, that sounds fun. Ecology sounds interesting too! I don't want Forestry to go next year (I don't know why I'm looking so far into the future...)

Re: Tentative 2024 Events
Just get the school robotics team to do it for you. I'm sure they'd be happy to do it, that's our current plan.

Re: Tentative 2024 Events
Mmm, I don't see my school's robotics team helping with anything like that... If they're ultra-competitive they probably won't have time or a good reason to help.

Re: Tentative 2024 Events
That, plus having an entirely different competition's team build a robot for you ruins the whole spirit of the competition. Robot tour is a horrible idea and shouldn't exist. Glad I'm graduating this year if it really does come into fruition next season.pumptato-cat wrote: ↑March 13th, 2023, 4:00 pm Mmm, I don't see my school's robotics team helping with anything like that... Re: Tentative 2024 Events
Hmm, we were just thinking of two people from our robotics team joining us for this season, but that's easy for me to say, because our team literally has 8 people.

Re: Tentative 2024 Events
I wouldn't call it a horrible idea... But having a robotics team build for SciOly is definitely not to the spirit of the event. I hope no one does that...CPScienceDude wrote: ↑March 14th, 2023, 5:31 amThat, plus having an entirely different competition's team build a robot for you ruins the whole spirit of the competition.
