Trajectory size limits
Hi all,
Can you check I'm not missing something in the rules here?
Rule 3a requires the device, in ready-to-launch configuration, to fit within a 60cm cube in any orientation.
Rule 5c requires the device to remain within "the launch area" after the shot. "The launch area" is the 1.5m side square taped on the floor. There is no requirement for the device to fit in the 60cm cube in the "after launch" configuration.
Was at an invitational where the ES was measuring height of the device after launch. I think the ES was doing it wrong. Am I right?

Re: Trajectory size limits
I believe you are right. I believe the intention of the rule is that no lever arm should be extending further than the front line after launch, so the height is irrelevant. You only must fit within the cube when ready to launch.
Waiting for the return of Ecology all by myself
