In my case, best case I don't burn down my kitchen, and worst case, I give my entire family food poisoning along with eggshell brownies.

And if this dough doesn't rise soon, I might just give up on learning to bake bread...

Bread Saga Update: Was scared it wasn't rising enough the entire time, but the bread turned out great once baked! (At least for a non-bread-snob).

Re: Your Daily Random Comment
More adventures in me trying to learn to cook/bake... today I learned that I definitely should not start with a whole stick of butter for my roux (had to scoop three-quarters out to finish the sauce). Maybe I shouldn't have tried to improvise a dish like that (chicken and spinach in a bechamel-based sauce).

I secretly think that cats are actually building an army to take over the world, don’t know how’d they fare well against conquering the oceans though.
For every person in the world, there are 100 cats... I wish it was like that.

Wow, seems like Schrodingerscat will get to benefit from that!CarolinaSundew wrote: ↑December 6th, 2022, 10:43 am I secretly think that cats are actually building an army to take over the world, don’t know how’d they fare well against conquering the oceans though.
What'll happen to the rest of us, though? Will our cat overlords take mercy on us paw souls?
