Specimen A is Sodalite Specimen B is Quartz var. Amethyst Sodalite has an isometric crystal system Amethyst will lose its color when exposed to high levels of UV radiation Fluorescence

Oops I knew it couldn't be that easy...
I don't know how to attach images so I'll do some non-ID questions this time (you can probably tell I'm quite new at this). If you could teach me how to do so that would be great.
(I figured out how and I feel like an idiot)
1. Define piezoelectricity and name a mineral that is piezoelectric.
2. Dichroic minerals are always one of which 3 crystal systems?
3. What is the hardness of scoria?
4. Explain what causes color alteration in the following Quartz varieties: a. Milky, b. Smoky, c. Rose, d. Amethyst, and e. Rose quartz.
5. List the following in order of most to least common: Native copper, Hematite, Malachite, Stibnite

1. Piezoelectricity is the phenomenon where a material will generate a current when mechanically stressed. Quartz is piezoelectric. 2. hexagonal, trigonal, tetragonal 3. 5 to 6 4a. Fluid inclusions during crystal formation 4b. Impurities of aluminum 4c. Titanium, Iron, or manganese impurities 4d. Iron impurities 4e. Duplicate of 4c. 5. Stibnite, Hematite, Malachite? not sure![]()

3. I forgot to specify for the hardness according to the Moh's hardness scale, in which Scoria doesn't have a hardness because it's a rock. So your answer is fine. 4b. Smoky quartz gets its color from natural radiation 5. Hematite, Malachite, Stibnite, Native copper -- I would probably have to use my field guide to answer a question like this

Different ways, but one is the CZ method where a seed crystal of the mineral is dipped in molten feed material and eventually the molten material crystallizes forming a new part of the crystal. 4.
