Re: University of Chicago 2021 B/C Invitationals
From what I understand, it was Kennedy's third team that competed at UChicago? Even so, Fulton still did had a fantastic performance of beating Kennedy by over 100 points; Fulton had 43, and Kennedy 166. I'm also very surprised and pleased to see Whitney Young in third place, which indicates that at least some local teams have managed to keep pace at huge invitationals with big-name teams that have qualified for nationals before. And, despite an unusual year, Whitney Young has also beaten their 10th place finish from last year at UChicago, which is a remarkable accomplishment.
Also, congrats to our Scioly.org friends Booknerd and Fawkes for medaling! :)

Yes, Citrine is Kennedy's third team as far as I know (could be second, but definitely wasn't first). Fulton has been doing incredibly well this year, definitely solid performances that nobody expected coming into the season. Considering that besides California teams, they're really only behind Beckendorff, Solon, Daniel Wright, and Longfellow, I think that they're a solid contender for a top 6 finish at nats this year.gz839918 wrote: ↑January 24th, 2021, 8:34 pm From what I understand, it was Kennedy's third team that competed at UChicago? In past years UChicago didn’t release their tests publicly. I haven’t heard anything from them about the tests, so I would assume that they would be kept private like in past years.
We don't talk about Pentathlon.

If they're being released I don't know about it. Guessing they aren't because we haven't been notified. Granted, we weren't notified of anything until the week of the tournament, so we'll see.
