What do you guys think of the new diseases? I think they look really interesting and I’m happy that some national topics got moved down to state/regionals

Yeah, I was happy with that too, because everyone now has experience from last year, so I would assume they know the nationals topics as well. I'm excited to see how teams that have more freshmen than average do at comp.
i hope that made sense

I'm very happy that there are some new ones for the integumentary system, because I always thought that was the easiest system, and there wasn't a whole lot of information to study for that to begin with. Pretty happy that I won't just be going MUSCULAR, MUSCULAR, OCCASIONAL SKELETAL, MUSCULAR the entire time.

Hi everyone, I'm really confused about what to study for Anatomy and Physiology. I've gone through the handouts, slides, and have been taking practice tests. I've also gone through the Scioly Wiki. My partner and I are splitting up the systems, so I'm taking Integumentary and we're both splitting Muscular. I'm having a lot of trouble with diseases (especially the new ones) and the aging of the skin. Does anyone know any good resources for diseases? Thanks!

I personally struggle with finding resources for diseases too. But for the past few years, I just search the diseases on google and try to study them there. And if I am using a specific textbook to learn information then I would search for the disease in the textbook and study from there too. So it is personal preference but yeah it is hard to find ONE single resource that will cover the disease well, so I would recommend using different sources.

Hi everyone!!

I'm new to Div C (freshman). I have done anatomy for the past two years but in div B. So I just wanted to ask if anyone can tell me how different the two divisions are from each other. I looked at the rules and the rules seemed different, but is that it? Are there common types of questions that come in Div C but not in Div B?? Any type of help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

I'm only in div b but I'm pretty sure for anatomy there's a few extra topics for each system for div c.

In previous years there have been differences between B and C (Like cardiovascular), but for the 2021 season there are no changes between the B and C topics.

Hello! For diseases, I recommend researching each disease on various websites (Wikipedia, medical websites, etc.). If you like visuals, videos on Youtube like Osmosis are also very helpful, but they won't cover each disease completely. Also, especially for integumentary, get accustomed to recalling what a disease is by a picture. Looking at past tests or google image searches are good ways to prepare for this.
