Re: Scioly Assassination 153- Scythe
HOUR 10
“Such a shame.” The reaper chuckles, “A cross country runner can't outrun a simple long distance runner.”
The reaper glances at the cross country runner. A wicked smile curves over their lips. They click their tongue, staring into Booknerd’s eyes.
“Is there no one here to save you?”
Booknerd gulps.
His brown orbs darted around the empty hallway. He knows the reaper’s right. Out of all his friends, nobody knows he’s here. He’s all alone.
Booknerd looks at the bland ceilings. He wants someone - anybody to save him. But, he can’t help but feel that nobody’s going to rescue him. It’s hard for him to stay positive.
The reaper takes a look at Booknerd, “Your taste in music is quite nice if I do say so myself.”
Booknerd’s head tilts, “What?”
The reaper shrugs. They shake their head, taking a final look around the hallway. They’re a bit hesitant for some reason. It’s like they know Booknerd.
"What a pity." the reaper frowned, "Nobody is here to rescue you."
***
Fyren’s running. She knows she’s taken too long to figure out who the reapers next target. She only hopes it isn’t too late.
She swerves through hallways and sprints up the stairs. It’s Booknerd. She needs to find him. Her heart pounds. She fears to think of the worst outcome.
“Stay positive.” Fyren mumbles, “Stay positive, Fyren.”
As she’s running. She notices a dark corridor - one she hasn’t discovered. Fyren makes her way to the surrounding blackness with careful steps. She needs to be careful too.
It’s dark and silent but, nonetheless Fyren makes her way through the hallway. Booknerd could be anywhere.
A deafening chuckle breaks through the silent atmosphere.
“Oh Fyren. A little late to the party?”
At the sound of the voice, Fyren breaks into another sprint. Booknerd has to be here if the reaper is here. She follows the sound of the voice, falling right into the Reapers trap. As the second passed, the lights blazed on.
The reapers in front of her, clad with black like before. Their appearance remains the same. There’s nothing special, Fyren can recognize about the reaper.
“Where’s Booknerd!” Fyren deadpans, narrowing her eyes at the reaper.
“Booknerd?” The reaper's voice raises with a squeak, “I can’t seem to recognize a Booknerd?”
Fyren’s fist balls. She’s too late. It’s obvious. Her guilt is rising, creeping up her back.
“Where. Is. Booknerd.” Her voice darkens.
“Booknerd? Who's that?”
The reaper’s boots click with the tile flooring in the room. They shrug with a cackle. It’s quite amusing to the reaper, watching Fyren go insane. The reaper laid out all the clues for them to solve. It’s not their fault the officers couldn’t solve it.
At this moment, something clicks inside Fyrens head. She feels like she knows who the reaper is. It makes sense. All the clues pieced together seamlessly.
“Is Jaspattack the one that has conspired to claim our lives?”
The reaper breaks out into the longest wave of laughter. It seems like a joke to them.
“Me. Jaspattack?”
The reaper finds the accusation far too funny with laughs in between each of their words.
“Do I look like Jaspattack to you?” The reaper can’t control their laughter, “What a shame.”
Fyren’s lips curve into a frown. It’s not jaspattack. It’s evident with the reapers reaction. She’s failed the officers.
“A wasted accusation and a victim.” The reaper glances back at Fyren,“Seems like you officers aren’t at your strongest.”

Re: Scioly Assassination 153- Scythe
HOUR 4
The group was starting to thin out. Friends left in a curious search, and the bystanders were getting anxious as well. The group stood hushed, however. For a moment, it seemed like the fear had begun to eat away their hopes. No one moved a muscle. The remaining people only stared at the abyss that laid before them.
“I don’t like being idle here,” One of them looks at the others before turning back towards the endless maze.
The others simply shrug. Despair and worry fills the atmosphere with the still silence. Once again the house radiates a sense of negativity.
“I’m going to go that way. I feel pathetic waiting for someone to save me.”
He took a quick glance around him. The others simply nod as he walks away from the thinning group.
Ahead of him were a few rooms. His eyes didn’t catch any of those rooms. He continues to walk forwards until he comes across a door with a delicate wood design. Intricate designs pierce the thin wood while faint peelings scrape off of the heavy wood. Its detailed carvings charms him.
The ornate door knob is fashioned with a disc like pattern of whorls and swirls. He grabs the handle, pulling the door open.
A bright fresh fragrance overwhelms him. It’s just like he’s walked into the summer. It’s similar to the scent of a beach.
His eyes pass along the room, fixing onto the two calendars mounted to the wall. Two dates were circled on the calendars in a bright blood red. He walks towards the first one. The calendar had a simple design, geometric shapes with minimal colors. His eyes trailed towards the date in the calendar.
“September 8th.”
His head tilted as he focused onto the year. It wasn’t the current year, in fact the calendar was year 2018. He checked again, to make sure he wasn’t seeing things.
He glanced at the other calendar, with a more bright vibe. It was designed with a childish feel to it, having stickers of cute figures stuck over the calendar. However, just like the calendar beside it another date was circled.
“July 12th”
He tried to remember what may have happened on that date, but there wasn’t anything quite significant. Just like the first calendar, this one wasn’t the current year as well. He tried once again to skim across things that happened in the summer around that time, but nothing came to mind. He considered it just a date circled for remembrance.
He walked on to the corner of the room and looked around the modern build. The walls were painted a nice bright yellow. As he had explored more of the mansion, he realized the overwhelming palette of bright colors. He noticed the plethora of childish things, from stuffed animals to chocolate.
Almost every type of chocolate laid scattered in the room, hersheys to twix, white chocolate to dark chocolate. He shrugs, making his way back to the door. He scans the room as he grabs the doorknob.
But, he can’t twist the doorknob. It’s locked from the outside.

I know there's a page where you can find users based on their join date, but I don't remember how to get to it. I might be heading in the wrong direction, maybe it's a birthday or something?

This might be a stretch, but I would like to note I did make the Childhood Memories thread and 2 polls about hot chocolate. Again, probably a stretch.SilverBreeze wrote: ↑December 10th, 2020, 7:55 am 9-8-7-12

Too busy with schoolwork to analyze the clue much, but I did notice "whorls and swirls" which made me think of Crime Busters
