Bala Cynwyd got 142 at states last year and Shady Side got 158. Sewickley got 76. You're right Eaststroudsburg, it would be incredible if all three got under 100, and even more so if all three were in the 70's or 80's. That would mean that not only are all three of those teams probably capable of getting top 10 at nats, but all of the other top teams in the state have become much worse. It's very unlikely.

And nearly impossible.

All three would have to average a finish of about 3rd place, and with teams like Welsh Valley, Stroudsburg, (and hopefully Strath Haven)like snagging up some medals each, it's unlikely for any team to get much lower than 76.

I predict a result close to last years.

i have to say that it is almost impossible to tell exactly what two schools will be going to nats this year. building events can be so unpredictable, and events are sometimes poorly run/bad (or extremely different) tests, so i think that we should just stop guessing and wait till states... it is only 18 days after all...
