RGB 25, 0, 96 is an eggplant purple color.

(also, "it makes a guy like me smile..." implies the gender of the assassinator - or could it be a red herring?)

Maybe a jersey color? If it’s NFL then that would narrow it down to Baltimore Ravens and Minnesota Vikings

I was looking through this list of teams to see if anything clicked, and the NY Giants stood out. They have red and blue colors, and their name kind of matches Giantpants, who is from New York. Maybe?

#250096 is close to the Ravens' #262595, Baltimore is in Maryland, so perhaps LMN?

I protect Umaroth because he has two accuses and searching "football" pulls up a WWYD post of his regarding football.

I think maybe accuse jaggie since we were mentioning it earlier?

Maybe the red and blue in the clue were related to the sassy's sig?
I was thinking, when sassy is closer to winning, maybe spam all the accuses when the sassy is at 6 points and hope we get lucky.

This clue leaves me clueless. I have no clue where to start, but we seem to be clued into some sort of knife/scissors cutting thing. Maybe the lack of an ID clue will clue us into that we got close to ID at some point (or maybe not). I think it might not hurt to use an accuse now, regardless.
