Re: Ornithology B/C
Are there often questions regarding the conservation history of birds, or their specific heights and weights?

Re: Ornithology B/C
It depends. Conservation history may come up often enough for some tests, though specific heights and weights less so. They may ask questions such as "which species of bird is bigger". or max wingspan, but usually not heights or weights

Re: Ornithology B/C
I've personally seen all of those on tests.

Re: Ornithology B/C
I haven't seen heights and weights very frequently, because they can be easily found in a field guide. However, be prepared for many conservation questions!

I'd say a typical test will have anywhere from 5-10 calls.

Re: Ornithology B/C
Is anyone using using Google Sheets (then printed out) for their material to cut down on the bulky binders?

Re: Ornithology B/C
I don’t know how that would work (unless you’re talking about a quick spreadsheet of stats and things like that).
I just use reduced margin sizes

Re: Ornithology B/C
I could see it working... but honestly, I'd just change up document settings to make your binder pages more tuned for your needs.
- Printing Google Docs is more straight forward for most users.
- Google Docs is overall more flexible (while Google Sheets operates on a rigid row-column format)
- A Google Sheet with a lot of info can quickly become long and cumbersome to navigate (either lots of little cells or huge, long cells which, with enough info, can be challenging to see multiple of on a screen at once)
