Wait a second, PiBot identifies as he/him/his....

I'd think PiBot would better fit under the "other" pronouns given its a Transmutation Hovertruck, but in the end, it chooses whatever it wants to be. :)

How might one join Dank Memes Area Homeschool, the national powerhouse of a team, which is rumored to be third best in the nation behind Acton-Boxborough and Solon (we don't mess with Troy 'round here)?

So transmutruck is a buzzword.
Also I got notified of this one message 3 times looking at my notifications:
Once at 1:01, once at 12:49, and one at 12:57 (UTC -5) - despite the message having been posted 12:39. Since the edit time allowance is only 3 minutes, it wasn't edited..... unless Pi-Bot just glitched out and quoted that post multiple times and subsequently had its posts deleted multiple time by Pepperonipi.
Given that the quoted messages don't show when I click on them in notifications, this lends itself to that theory.
On that note Pi-Bot did quote another one of my posts earlier, which also (the quote) seems to have been deleted.
EDIT: Pi-bot is posting out a lot of stuff recently too, maybe a glitch in the code?
EDIT 2: Yeah the version updated, seems it went through the beta quite quickly
Yeah, sorry about this, I just finished v2.0.0 finally... basically just upgraded the infrastructure to a much better platform which should allow me to run him more frequently, longer, and thus in more places around the site.

For the notifications, sorry about that. I was testing him, and deleting his posts after, since they were just tests after all. I think I may just make a new thread in General Chat which isn't meant to be subscribed to where I can just test Pi-Bot all I need to, since then you guys won't get the notifications for posts that never show up! Let me know if you have any other ideas/thoughts.

That's in the signature, so he's probably trying it out as it goes.
Yep. The thing about testing a forums bot is that it has to be testing on the forums, unfortunately... but hopefully making a "trash thread" of sorts for testing will help to get around this issue.
JoeyC wrote: April 12th, 2020, 10:37 am Completely with code? Does that mean 'transmutation hovertruck' is a buzzword for it or something? It was posted almost immediately in response to it
This is pure filter code, as I wanted to see if the filter code I wrote in the early stages of the bot still worked... which it did...
The reason for the short post time was that I was testing the bot a ton.

Also, if you have any more ideas for which thread/pages on the wiki he should try to post to/edit next, please let me know!

on to v3...
Yeah, Pi-Bot he quoted me 3 times, oh now I get it, also the transmutation hover tuck was used creating a random vehicle generator, so probably scioly is the only one with it published. Also, slap of keyboard should work, since it's literally quite random.

Quite the contrary since our build packing boxes (Plastic) will get wet, and in the offside the water gets on our planes, we are screwed.

We always check the weather forecast leading up to a competition, and if necessary use saran wrap and/or duct tape to try and waterproof things.

Yeah, but like he needs a pronoun to be called by, so naturally when I'd talk to people about it, they'd just use "him" so I just kind of kept with it. Lol if he needs a pronoun change, lmk

Good point, good point. Pi-Bot can just slap on a digital keyboard somewhere

When does snow ever possibly touch your plane? We basically just carry ours everywhere we go, and isn't your guys' waterproof if it's plastic and sealed well?

Well I mean speaking on the off chance it does, since we have a small gap in between the lid and the roof of the box. But very little chance anything can happen, most of the time our builds are one time use then throw so it doesn't really matter that much. Regardless, still a pain to wipe everything down after it was in the rain/snow.

All things aside, I see how pepperonipi redid his profile photo. Kind of confused what it is though. Probably will find out what it is on closer inspection.

Unome, windu and I went for dinner and ice cream after Solon Invitational this past season, there was a flurry coming down at that time, and both of them told me they both hated snowstorms and would never be able to live with the Midwestern weather :p Apparently they both also thought my winter driving skills were questionable hehe, although the drive to Solon from West Lafayette is like 6 hours long and I’m obviously still alive

Fun part of that weekend was driving windu to the Cleveland airport at 4am bc the hotel nicholasmaurer put us in at apparently didn’t offer early enough airport shuttle service heh. I basically walked to my car in my pajamas, dropped him off, drove back to the hotel, and went back to sleep for another few hours before heading home (got to stop by OSU to say hi to SOnerd along the way!).
