Following the ignominious unofficial demise of the Wheel of Wasted Time, I've decided that we needed some other way of shaming our users into doing actual work (ie, studying and building for Science Olympiad and then brain dumping everything into the wiki and gallery). I had previously observed that without post count accreditation in all of General Chat, users have begun to post their uncounted trash into GC without the shame that a high post count brings. Many users even fell into the trap of thinking that a high post count was a good thing.

So I present to you the (Bumpy) Staircase of Wasted Space and Bandwidth, or
(B)SoWSaB:


These are the 25 users with the highest post counts. Their "official" post count is shown in green. The "uncounted" posts are shown in blue. Thus, their actual post count is shown as the total length of the bar.

Notably, rocketman1555 has the greatest number of "actual" posts, yet is at only #6 ranking for useful (counted) posts. A full 81% of his posts are within General Chat and its subforums.

More remarkably, Dark Sabre has a greater "useful" post count than he has actual posts. This is simply an affirmation of how awesome he is. He remarked, "<DarkSabre> I'm 105% awesome". It should be noted, however, that 306/290 is actually 106%.

Unfortunately, as of late, it's 90% spam and time wasting. Look at the threads some people are making...pathetic.

But whatever, if you want to waste your time, that's not my worry.

If you read what gh posted you'd see that it says it only includes the top 25 users as ranked by post count. You don't fall into that category then.

intresting so the green bar is what counts as posts now for your post count, and the green+blue is all the posts made on the website.
