Some statistics:
Four division B state competitions have been cancelled - a total of 6 bids. This includes 2 NY, 1 Connecticut, 1 Socal, 2 Ohio.
Four division C state competitions have been cancelled - also a total of 6 bids. This includes 2 NY, 1 Vermont, 1 Socal, 2 Ohio.
A total of 16 tournament cancellations - 13 B, 13 C (some tournaments are B/C, which are counted in both B and C counts).
3/4/2020: 1 cancelled
3/6/2020: 1 cancelled
3/8/2020: 3 cancelled
3/9/2020: 5 cancelled
3/10/2020: 6 cancelled
Again, a link to the sheet is here: (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing), which will be updated accordingly.
Hopefully more tournaments will follow suit and cancel tournaments in a proactive, rather than a reactive approach. Truly is a shame to see some amazing teams not have the opportunity to go to nats, and even states and regionals.
