I did something similar the night before State in one of my first two years. My W.V. went to State with Scotch tape and hot glue holding 2 of the wheels together.

Not impossible. 9th graders can compete in Div B via the "invite back" rule. 9th graders can also learn to drive.

Could be referring to the car that his parents drive. I have referred to the car I/we drove for as long as I can remember...
