If you’re soloing, then you only get one page. If you have a partner, then yes, you get 2 front and back pages.
I'm working with one other person. Soloing this event is the kind of thing that I don't think I ever want to experience.

Now I'm going to have nightmares about soloing Forensics...

My friend had a ghost partner for forensics at an invitational but only had one sheet of notes. He got third. Very hard to do if you're not in Hawaii.

Does anyone have any good ways to discern between silk, nylon, polyester, and spandex under a microscope? They all look pretty much the same to me, and don't seem to have any defining characteristics that I could tell them apart by.

Usually, they will have burn test results to differentiate.

How can burning them differentiate them? I usually just go off of smell which can just identify plant or animal, but beyond that I'm not sure.
Finally an alumnus!

Look for flame color/behavior, smoke, residual bead, more specific smell, etc. Also check for pictures online.

Hey y'all,

This question is for this event and some other events. In the rules it say "each participant may... [bring cheat sheet]". That means that a team of 2 can bring a total of 2 sheets both double sided correct?
