Are most invies/regionals consistent with medal colors?
For instance, im pretty sure 1st 2nd and 3rd are always blue, red and white

However, I've recieved a green 5th place medal and also a yellow 5th place medal. Is there a color code that most people stick with?

1-3 should always be the same, but I’ve seen variation from 4-8. I usually see;
1. Blue
2. Red
3. White
4. Yellow
5. Green
6-8. Usually varies a lot

I've only gone to one invitational giving out more than 3-4.

Every invitational out here in CA gives out 6 with the exception of Mira Loma giving out 5. Most other places give 6 too, which makes sense because that's how they do it at nationals.

Unrelated to medals, but it appears that Troy will be joining Boca Raton as the only nats school to be offering the Cambridge AICE program to students. I personally am not able to do the program, but it seems pretty neat.

My experience with the program is that it's basically just AP, but easier. They're still a bit of challenge, but typically aren't as bad as whatever AP class is an equivalent. Plus, it seems like not as many colleges offer credit for AICE classes yet, and many aren't as aware of their existence, I believe. Good thing is that AICE classes often times touch on areas that AP classes don't, such as Business, Travel and Tourism, or Divinity. Cool to here that there are more schools outside of Florida that are getting AICE.

Mhm. I'm not sure how restrictive the IB program (or even what taking an IB course is like (I think kinda like AP?)) is at Troy, but at Boca, people will usually take a combo of AP/AICE courses, because like you said, there's really no restriction on them. Seems to be working pretty good.
