How is Remote Sensing "pay to win"? It is a study event. How is WiFi Lab a pay to win event? It literally requires just coax, connectors, and wire.
Y'know, I didn't really look into what I was typing, I just kinda jumped to conclusions based on event names. Later when I looked them up I was like "oh wait..."
That's fair, these events do sound a lot more expensive than they are. But keep in mind the direction Sciecne Olympiad seems to be going (Robot Arm to Detector Building, no electronics in Misison, etc.)
I just wish detector didn't have a test along with it. I wouldn't mind if they made the build harder and just took away the test. Both me and my partner only do build events so the test is a real struggle for us

What no roller/mission in div c?
It's currently Detector Building. Mission is back for 2022.
