our chemistry teacher (absolute legend btw) had a thing where if you fell asleep he would stop teaching and quietly grab a box of ping pong balls and rapid fire chucking them at you if you fell asleep. I have woken up during PE and wondered why the gym was suddenly empty. The best part is when the teacher asks you if you got some sleep in because she knows how stressed and sleep-deprived the students are.
