Attaching tube to rocket body

Post by Oldbulldog »

Was wondering if anyone has a good way to attach the fluorescent light tubing to the rocket body?

Cut off the top of another bottle and slide it on the pressure bottle. Then you can slide on the tube over the nozzle of the cut off bottle. If it is loose, wrap some tape around the nozzle to make it thicker so the tube slides on.

Is it not recommended to tape the tube to the nozzle? Bc rt now we are taping the tube to the nose cone using duct tape.. Should we take out the tape?

I recommend simply hotglueing the tube to your nosecone nozzle. (Note that the glue is allowed because it is not directly on the pressure vessel)
