Good pressure? Parachute shape?

Post by Sampreethi »

At the invite we ended using a very low amount of pressure for launching the rocket, anyone have a good idea of an amount we should test are rocket with? And what would be a good shape for our parachute?

Pressure will depend on your own rocket, since it will change with the mass of the rocket. Just keep experimenting with trial and error and try to estimate the height it goes. For the parachute, I’d recommend a circle since it is the most basic shape and it provides a slower descent than most other shapes.

Pressure will depend on the rocket.

As for the shape, circles seem to be the one that works the best.
