Can someone explain the rationale/logic behind not scoring or not announcing placement at a home school's invitational?

For example, Raymond Park was not announced yesterday.

Teams would be more likely to be accused of cheating, especially if they place well.

Anyways, anyone have state predictions after pre-state yesterday? I personally thought Munster did very well. Them taking points off of Carmel's usually good study events, along with South's good build events, may drop Carmel a lot of points. I predict:

2. Bloomington HS South
3. Carmel
4. Lake Central
5. Bloomington HS North

Heyo! I wrote the sounds of music test for Raymond Park, and I'd be grateful if anybody would like to suggest ideas for improving my tests. Congratulations to all teams who attended at Raymond Park last week!

As for Indiana states, it's probably a tossup between Bloomington South, Carmel, and Munster, which is not altogether unlike past seasons. I'll say though that if you're looking for evidence that your rivals will lose, you're guaranteed to find it—but ignoring all the ways your rivals could win is not a good way to ensure victory, and ignoring evidence is never a good way to do science. It's also quite possible John Adams takes a spot on the top five at states, considering they've done it before, and that this year saw their best performance at Whiting yet.

I understand that these predictions are based off of the Raymond Park results, but you must understand that Carmel did not allow any of their five officers to compete this weekend who have all placed extremely well at last year's state competition along with some of them doing as well as 1st and 2nd at the Nationals tournament.

Considering that I might move Carmel up, but I still do think that Munster/Carmel/Bloomington South is going to be extremely close this year and I can see any of them winning state. I just used the results from the two invitationals that have taken place and I think Bloomington South have proved that they are the team to beat so far in the season by taking first at both Raymond Park and Whiting.

One thing's for sure though, Bloomington South has shown up this year as a really strong team. If anyone thought that states would be a battle between Carmel and Munster, they're definitely wrong. Not calling states winners, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was BHSS.

They have still competed against an unstacked Munster and Carmel. Sure they’re strong this year, but Munster and Carmel are sure to be much stronger when stacked.
