What's the best place to find all the trivia that's always asked on the event? (e.g. any large scientific databases of articles or like documents I can sift through)

Have you already tried NOAA and USGS(sorry, not very helpful here)? Also, would Wikipedia count?

I search up basic terms on wikipedia and click any related terms, then repeat for a while.

Until you get lost in the maze of links and realize you're studying earth science... for a bio event.

EDIT: Also the main reason I'm doing DP.

Ehh, I'd use USGS more than NOAA, just because I like the USGS more. I'd also get a textboook glossary in your notes that is full of super obscure terms. It will help you interpret questions that are oddly worded and full of weird terms.

the website "https://www.marinebio.net/marinescience/index.htm" has a whole section (1.3) on oceanic tools that a lot of test writers take pictures from.

The "Representative Tasks" section is just a list of examples of good problems they can give you on a test. That does not mean they are part of the official rules. If a question like that were to show up on a test, the best way to prepare would be to simply have a good understanding of the concepts that are required for the question rather than going out and memorizing a ton of random facts.
