What kind of crazy hats/outfits do teams wear at Nats?

last year one team had capes and "spears" and stuff that they wore to the opening ceremony. It looked like a scene out of 300.

was that solon's high school? they were sitting like above and next to us. they were prety cool. they were dressed in togas and stuff

What about Indiana? Another state had corn covered last year, and the whole racing thing is just annoying. Any other suggestions?

We're not going to Nats this year but just out of curiosity, what did NJ bring last year (Community MS)?

I don't remember what they brought, but I do remember their shirts- they said "George Washington Slept Here" on the back. We couldn't stop laughing.

there was a guy last year at nats who kept coming over to where me and my friends were sitting, trying to give us this broken bunny bank....he was cool. then, when things were kinda wincing down, he came over to me and said, "hey, you wanna trade something for these boiled peanuts?" and i was like "sure, ill trade you these boiled peanuts for those boiled peanuts." so we traded boiled peanuts and i still have them.....mostly cuz im kinda terrified of eating anything that has the words "peanut" and "boiled" together. roasted peanuts i can deal with, but boiled peanuts......whenever we talk about nats, my friends always call him Bunny-Boy.

If hats dont work out, another thing to keep in mind is Plushies. Last year my team (we're from Idaho ), Brought Potato Plushies called Spuddy Buddies. we only had 3 or 4 of 'em, but they were extremely popular. We made it to nats again this year, so the "Spuddy Buddies" will be back, and this time we will have a lot more of them. either way, its definatly something to look into if hats do not work out.
