Consistency with air pressure

Hi. Coach here, and cyclist. I know that bike air pumps are not that accurate. If my team uses one brand, and we settle at 45 psi, suppose we get to competition and the judges' pump, at 45, is actually what ours would be at 48? I could see teams hitting the ceiling (or not getting as close) with this type of inaccuracy, and complaining. Thoughts?

Rule 2.d. states that teams may also bring their manual bicycle pump, so you could bring your own and avoid any inaccuracies.
