Last Invite Before a Regional

Interested in people's thoughts on this...we are either doing 3 invites or 4...if we do 4 the 4th would be the Saturday before our Regional...is it more valuable to have that extra invite or to have that Saturday before as a work day?

We've done an invitational the week before regionals. It was our third, and was useful to pick out some things people needed last-minute study for.

On the downside, it's hard on some of the builds - you need to build a new boomilever, and run the risk of breaking a plane without much time to build a new one. (Boomi people actually built two before the last invite, then only made a minor modification for regionals.)

As others have said, we looked at this as mostly prep for state, rather than for regionals.

Or don’t bring builds....there isn’t much you can fix in one week if you find problems...
