1st place! We were in Maryland though, and only had to beat about 10 teams :D

we've got 32...and im pretty sure thats insignificant compared to places like NYS

NY had about 50. 54 exactly, i think, though one team couldnt come.
2009 events:
Fossils: 1st @ reg. 3rd @ states (stupid dinosaurs...) 5th @ nats.
Dynamic: 1st @ reg. 19thish @ states, 18th @ nats
Herpetology (NOT the study of herpes): NA
Enviro Chem: 39th @ states =(
Cell Bio: 9th @ reg. 18th @ nats
Remote: 6th @ states 3rd @ Nats
Ecology: 5th @ Nats

California, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, North Carolina, Texas, Georgia, Kansas, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and probably a couple more.

How many teams does Kansas have? I've never heard their name said up there with the big states. New Jersey and Massachusetts are also pretty big.

In PA there are 35 teams for both divisions.

We had our (Wisconsin) division C state competition yesterday.

Our team got 1st in Herpetology and Wind Power, 2nd in It's About Time (one of my events. ^_^), and 6th in Electric Vehicle

18th place overall. Not too bad for our first time going to State!
We had 48 teams, I believe.
