Castling on the 5th move; everyone can learn to win at chess w/ 5 E's capitalized; mistakes, even on the second move, can kill you; all the sigs fit together (paraphrased) w/ 3 R's capitalized, in summary.
I have a feeling the 5E has to do with the second move, as going second, you would normally move your pawn up 2 to that spot. Not sure about how the other two relate, though.

Ok, down the rabbit hole first. I'll focus on the sigs. I believe the most common way to castle on the 5th move is through the Indian Defense, or ID. In the second sig, 5 E's were capitalized. In the third, it was talking about a fools mate, also known as a 2 move mate. The fourth sit contains 3 capitalized r's. I have no idea what all of this means.
Now to the clues. I've played out a situation that fits the clues perfectly. The only possible targets are pawns, unless the sassy is targeting TCS again. I don't know what to make of the rest tho.

EDIT: Germanica was the name of a legion on the Germanic front once led by Caesar, with a presumed emblem of Taurus. Maybe the target is a history geek? I do like history, and I've mentioned doing some history competitions on the forums, but I haven't really broadcasted it.

I agree it's likely not an officer being targeted. I think it's probably someone active in this game that's not an officer

i think it's interesting that the sassy has switched from emphasizing letters with capitalization (though they still do that in the sig) to with color; could purple be significant? it's probably also important to note that the sassy apparently feels bad for who they're targetting, which is also someone who isn't a horrible player and can "unlock the next stage of the game," which could mean the identity of the sassy?

also, while the chessboard theory is really good, i think we need to keep in mind that the sassy might be controlling both sides of the board (i think someone mentioned this? maybe lindsmaurer?) and is "making all of the moves."

It could refer to moving into the middlegame or endgame but I'm not sure which piece could move us on to that stage

It was very clever of you to figure out my last clue. Maybe you can figure out my next one... It's really amazing how the piece in danger happens to be a not completely horrible player. Oh yeah, I'm making all of the moves. I'd feel bad for threatening this piece, but I want to play this game... and I want to win. I'll tell you this: the piece I'm attacking may allow us to unlock the next stage of the game.
I will scroll back, but I distinctly remember someone commenting how the Sassy seems to be making all the moves in this virtual game of chess. Could the bolded setion refer to them, somehow?
