Yes! Libertyville got 4th but Cary Grove failed to qualify. I know as our school was the only school in our district to make state this year.Ompato00 wrote:I think one of them was Libertyville, don’t know about cary.chrroh wrote:Were the other two schools maybe Libertyville and Cary Grove?TheChiScientist wrote:I got two unofficial reports on regionals results. Really? That certainly surprises me. Now you've got me curious as to who got 7th . . . by the looks of it it seems to be a team that didn't qualify within the last two years . . . well I'm excited to find out!TheChiScientist wrote: Yes! New Trier got 37 actually (MTV results got messed up. New Trier was supposed to get 1st but instead got 3rd. They appealed and the change was made.)TheChiScientist wrote:I got two unofficial reports on regionals results. (Div. C)

U Chicago got 84 I believe...
Our team (Conant) got 125
Barrington got 4th with 152 (might be slightly off)
Hersey got 156
But as you can see, it was a landslide.

Awesome! Thank you guys for confirming the state bids! And of course, congrats to the teams that qualified and also the teams that simply competed and gave their best at these regionals.Nydauron wrote:TheChiScientist wrote:I got two unofficial reports on regionals results. (Div. C)

*Special congrats to Lake Forest Academy, Barrington, and Hersey for qualifying after failing to do so last year. It's always refreshing seeing new teams make it.
*And while I'm at it, New Trier had almost the same exact score against my team two years ago at Oakton, so trust me I know what it's like to go up against them. But hey, your team still qualified from what seemed like a pretty competitive regional for a state bid. Nice job!

Along with boomilever. They forgot a 0 in their score but no change was made which kinda sucks but they would’ve gotten first in boomilever. So as of right now NT got tiered in that event due to error.Nydauron wrote:New Trier got 37 actually (MTV results got messed up. New Trier was supposed to get 1st but instead got 3rd. Re: Illinois 2019
I heard about that. I'm thinking once official results are released we can make the correction ourselves and see how welp NT actually did but I think they will be very close to a perfect score of 23.FermiGod wrote:Along with boomilever. Re: Illinois 2019
Ouch. I wonder if scioly could use some kind of routine score confirmation process, so ES and competitors sign off on the build score to combat these kids of data entry problems? I don't think these mistakes happen very often, but they're hard to recover from when they do. Some ES will verbally confirm the score with the competitors, but lots don't routinely do this.TheChiScientist wrote:I heard about that. Thermo has competitors and ES initial the final temperature reading.
