One more note on bending the Ikara to increase pitch. The stars are pretty hard to twist initially. But, the instant you feel them start to twist you should stop. 5 degrees is only about 1 mm of twist. Measure with your pitch gauge to see how much you changed the blade and then decide if you want more. If so, repeat the procedure. As Coach Chuck mentioned earlier, you should only bend the spars a couple times and only plan on redoing this process maybe one time on anyone propeller. After repeated bending to change pitch more than two times, the spars do get weak.

Spars not “stars”; hard to keep up with the errant autocorrect.

For same thickness rubber, and consistent winding technique, yes max winds scales with length. With of course some variability due to minor (probably not practically measurable) differences in thickness, width, damage, etc.

I only just realized that you were supposed to twist the propeller rather than simply bending it. How dumb I feel right now...

Anyways thanks again for your responses, I'll stick to them and look forward to using it and potentially improving
