Under the old format, only one system would be replaced each year, so each system would get 2 years of run in B division and 3 years of run in C division. They changed it so every system is replaced each year around the same time that B division went from two systems to three.

I'm so sad about the bio ID rotations I always wanted to do forestry or entomology the most but I get lousy herp for pretty much my entire scioly career :(

In a way... It was too much of a pay to play event. Teams with a larger budget performed better than teams with a low budget.
