Looking for new lubricant?
So my partner and I are looking for a new lubricant brand for our rubber that won’t degrade it. Any recommendations?

What have you been using before?
I know Armor-All or Son of a Gun works well.

Re: Looking for new lubricant?
if you do use armorall, what i like to do is get some paper towels, shake it rly well and then spray a good amount on the towels. run the rubber thru it but dont lubricate the o rings or the knot. if you have too much, just wipe some off but always massage it into the rubber.
it's not about the medals; go out there and have fun. make progress, learn a few things and have one heck of a time; that's all that matters.

Re: Looking for new lubricant?
Armor All - armor all sprayed into a small plastic baggie, drop rubber (with o rings) into ziploc bag, and rub bag vigorously for 5-10 seconds so that the rubber is glistening when you take it out
If you had good lube, the motor should spray a little off (dew) when winding - barely perceptible. You can also feel that the motor is easier to stretch-wind when properly lubed.
