Re: Indiana 2019
I ironically think that UMich Invy might be better as an indicator for this year's Division C predictions than any of the regionals will :P

Re: Indiana 2019
Most definitely! It'll be the top three Indiana teams (atleast top 3) competing against each other.pikachu4919 wrote:I ironically think that UMich Invy might be better as an indicator for this year's Division C predictions than any of the regionals will
Side note: Good luck to everybody at the Lake Central invite this weekend!

Re: Indiana 2019
Regional Predictions
Ivy Tech Bloomington
Division B: Hauser
It's Hauser's to lose. They have won this regional the last 2 years.
Division C: Columbus North
I don't have a lot to go on here. This regional is pretty small.
Purdue Lafayette
Divison B: West Lafayette
Usually a contender, unless someone travles to their regional that does well other places. Consistently places in the top 12 of the state. Home field advantage
Divison C: Lake Central
No doubt in my mind on this one. They are out for blood as most state runners up are. Should be an easy win.
Goshen
Division B: Manchester
Stanley Clark has not done as well these last couple years, and Manchester already beat Northridge once.
Division C: John Adams
John Adams just beat Northridge. They are up and rising. Seems like this one is theirs to lose.
Purdue University Northwest
Division B: Wilbur Wright
It's Ben Franklin vs. Wilbur Wright, and I think Wilbur Wright will pull it out.
Divison C: Munster
Whiting could pull an upset, but I'm going with the favorite here.
Ivy Tech Terra Haute
Division B: Carlisle
Carlisle has attended an invitational, so maybe them? This was a hard one to predict as such little information is out there.
Division C: Castle
Same justification.
IU Northwest
Division B: Thomas Jefferson
Duh. If they are having a truly terrible year, then Chesterton, but nah, they aren't.
Division C: Valpo
The only contender in this invitation to make the top 5 overall in the state.
Butler
Division B: Raymond Park
It's theres to lose. I have the same feelings about them that I do about Lake Central. That being said, Tri-North could pull out an upset.
Division C: Carmel
The hardest to predict. I think Carmel will take it over both the Bloomington Schools. Maybe it's recency bias. Carmel did beat Bloomington South at Centerville.
Ivy Tech Lafayette
Divison B: Winamac
I think the experienced coaching gives them the edge.
Division C: Winamac
Same reasoning.
Overall Butler and Purdue Northwest seem to be the most competitve regionals. Good luck everyone.
