Lol. No idea cuz our team used to compete there but we got bored cuz it was easy pickings tbh. Best invitationals to watch/record would be Palatine, UChicago, CLC, Huntley, and Loyola. After that, we can only see what regionals bring us.

Hahaha speaking of regionals, ours will be interesting this year. Our coach says that it'll be Neuqua, Waubonsie, Metea, UC Lab, and Lyons at the NV regional, and hopefully 5 bids instead of 4....

That's gonna get rough real fast if it only allows 4... Reminds me of last year when our team had to deal with Hinsdale C, Naperville N and C, and York HS... Oh boy was that nerve-racking... (We won second by 3 points )

Wow that's intense competition. 2nd place in that competition pool? That's definitely impressive beating out Hinsdale Central or Naperville North.

It's just that since we host a regionals, our coach has some information about it.

1. IL regionals are "open". More competitive teams don't really get to choose.
2. We beat out Hinsdale Central by 3 points... We were so panicked when they kept on calling Naperville North so yea... Gotta say that was one of our best years and we got a nice chunk of medals at state. (1st for me boi )

On the topic of nerve-racking regionals, my old team is competing at one this spring. The last time I checked the Oakton Regional Page, there's only 2 State Bids this year!
This concerns me given that there are 4 teams competing there that placed Top 20 at state last year. (I'm talking about Niles West, Niles North, Glenbrook South, and Loyola) Yea, I guess only 2 of those teams go to state this year.
Wow. WOW. That's going to be a heated competition.

How did the Crystal Lake Central Invitational go?

Our team got 3rd overall with Stevenson maintaining a strong presence. Stevenson is looking solid overall but they seem to have a few weak points here and there. Knowing the Stevenson war machine they will eradicate those issues soon.

The Crystal Lake Central Invitational results have been posted on Avogadro. And yes, Stevenson definitely had a strong presence. Again, here's a short summary of the outcome:

Why is Fossils listed as a trial? Just curious.

The answer key was accidentally handed out so it was decided that it would not be fair to other teams if fossils was counted.
