Because many "noobs" come on here, don't bother reading past posts, and ask questions that have been answered 10+ times (I know because I was like this last year).
I can relate to disorganization being inconvenient but we also want to make the site accessible by those who are new. Getting your questions answered when you first joined may have encouraged you to stay.

This would be nice to have, but it would be more work to roll out new features consistently. If we were to introduce a new feature, we'd have to make it compatible with many web browsers, a couple mobile operating systems and screen sizes. To make things manageable while still providing a decent experience for you, we've worked on making the site more mobile friendly.

The mods (AHEM EAST) are able to edit posts, which means even if I'm saying something completely harmless, they can (and have) changed the post to mess with me. It's very unsettling and really causes some internal scarring every time it occurs. Therefore, I believe that mods should be able to delete posts, but not directly change them. Thank you for your valuable time. :)
This functionality is included in the forum software we use and not added by ourselves. As East mentioned, we use these capabilities judiciously. If a long post has a link to SO rules but is otherwise useful, I'd rather do the editing and take the link out than delete the entire post.

The forums use a British English language pack. I think this is a small difference that we can live with.

It's been down for about a year or so, I don't know why.

As an afterthought, maybe you could make it so that all topics need to be approved by moderators before being created, kinda like the Polling Place.

I think this could be a good idea as it will slow down bot spam but make it that someone has to do like 20+ posts total...

Seconded. Bots create advertising topics, and new members often create unneeded new topics in order to ask questions which have already been answered. I understand that we need to cut new members some slack, but they should still know to post their questions in the general event forums.
