Scioly Assassination 131: (Your Lives are in) Jeopardy!
This... is... Jeopardy!
Introducing today's contestants, five officers from varying locations.
And now, here is the host of Jeopardy, the Assassinator!
Thank you, Johnny. Today we're going to be playing a special game. Instead of playing for money, the price of each clue is the life of a forums user.
Correctly solve the clue, and no one dies. Incorrectly solve it, and, a user will be assassinated.
Please pay attention to the rules, and let's begin with our entry clue.
1. The officers will be the next five people who correctly solve the clue attached below the rest of the rules. Also be sure that you can actively participate for the next couple weeks. Inactive officers will not be replaced, and likely will be killed.
2. There will be no informants, but civilians may post.
3. I will provide clues which plainly point to my next victim, and occasionally to myself.
4. Each clue will last at least 48 hours unless explicitly said otherwise, after which I will make my kill.
5. People will die. However, there are some exceptions. I will not kill administrators or moderators. In return, I ask that they not reveal my identity.
6. Officers may protect one person per clue. (Reminder: changing protects before I post the next clue is allowed)
7. Once an officer has made two incorrect accusations, he or she may not accuse anyone. However, he or she may continue to use their protects.
8. When accusing someone of being Assassinator you must use the following template: "I accuse (place name here) because (give reason here)." If you don't use this template when accusing, the accusation won't count.
10. Once "killed," a user may not post about the identity of the Assassinator. Ghosts are allowed, but please post sparingly, and don't continue to participate in clue-solving.
11. All prospective officers that solve the given clue, attached below, will begin with one accusation.
12. I win after 10 incorrect accusations have been made, but the number needed to win goes down by one with each kill, or I win if I kill all the officers before you figure out who I am. The officers win if you correctly identify me before this happens.
13. I may or may not continue to post with my true account, and may provide hints there.
14. If I see it fit, I may decide to add rules during the game.
15. With each correct protect, the officer that made the protect may earn one accusation. However, the limit to these earned accusations is 1 per officer.
16. I realize that the theme of this game may lead people to suspect Lumosityfan as a result of him appearing on Jeopardy! a few years ago. Due to this suspicion, I will declare now that he is not the Assassinator, and he will not be targeted in any clues this game due to the coincidence.
17. All protects must be phrased "Who is (user?)" as a true Jeopardy! response would be.
18. A "Daily Double" clue will occur 2 times in the game. This means that 2 people are going to be targeted in the clue. Due to this, the next clue will be a guaranteed ID clue.
19. Final Jeopardy will happen when each officer has only one accusation left. It will come in the form of an ID clue. At this point, the officers will need to make a collective accusation.
20. Category name, amount of clue, and content of clue will all be relevant when solving.
Note-
a) You must privately message your answer to the clue to the Assassinator once you have solved it.
b) This message must have the subject "Entry Clue- 131 Answer."
c) The message must be formatted "What is (answer?)
d) You may not send more than one PM.
Category: United States Presidents. Amount: One dollar coin.
Clue: This president loved to cook, though he couldn't do it in The oval Office. In fact, one of his favorite foods was old-fashioned beef stew.
Have fun, and welcome to game 131. Don't forget- your lives are in Jeopardy!

Well... I don't have many chances to be FTP in a Sassy game {Sassy excluded}, and usually it entails the commitment of officership, which I don't have the time for right now...dxu46 wrote:Probably notThings2do wrote:Is this a record for no-one posting in a Sassy game?Assassinator wrote:This... is... Also I don't think I should be an officer because I joined only last game, but I'm going to try to solve the clue regardless.
(Also when did LumosityFan get on Jeopardy?!)
EDIT: I got the clue and I can be an officer if it turns out no one wants to
