The turn is necessary for a high score because of the VTP's location of 0.10m to the right of the imaginary centerline for Regions, 0.25m for State, and 0.50m for Nationals. A variance in the steering is necessary because of the varying length of travel. I hope that makes sense to you.

There is a track diagram link on the first page, but it is last year's diagram. The official new one will be linked to here when the Scioly people get around to making it. But, until then, this one looks correct to me:

I've seen some that would announce which they were gonna use, but not a lot. It might be best for you to find out who to ask at the Invitational. I highly doubt anyone would use the Nationals rules, but other than that…
Edit: Is it just me, or is the text at the bottom of this post smaller than ti should be without a [size] tag?

Do you guys think a 10cm wide mtv would be ok of should it be a bit more wider?
Also do you guys think a 2mm thick cf plate would fine?
