1. The officers will be the next five people who expresses their interest in investigating the origins of this note.
2. Put in a bit of thought before posting. If you have not been around for awhile, it is less likely that you will be able to identify me.
3. There will be no "informants", but civilians may post.
4. People will die. I will kill administrators or moderators. A small ID clue will accompany this. I ask that they be a good sport and accept their fate, and not expose who I may be.
5. A small ID clue will accompany any officer target. This is to balance possible excessive officer targeting.
6. Officers may protect one person per clue.
7. Once an officer has made three incorrect accusations, he may not accuse but MAY still protect.
8. The assassin will provide clues which plainly point to his next victim, and occasionally to himself.
9. The assassin may continue to post with his true account, and may provide hints there.
10. When accusing someone of being Assassinator you must use the following template "I accuse (place name here) because (give reason here)." If you don't use this template when accusing the accusation won't count. (Unless I feel particularly nice)
11. Once "killed" a user may not post about the identity of the assassinator. They are allowed one post to recognize their death.
12. Non officers may post.
13. Each clue will last 48 hours, after which the Assassinator will kill. A NEW CLUE MAY COME EARLY IF ALL PROTECTS ARE IN EARLY
14. If the Assassinator does not reply in 7 days after all protects are made, each officer gets a free accusation. However that accusation must be made next time the user posts and cannot be stored as an extra one to use later. This accuse will not count toward me winning so use it.
15. Each officer begins with two accusation. You may earn one additional with a correct protect for a maximum of 3.
16. The Assassinator wins after 15 incorrect accusations have been made, but the number needed to win goes down by one with each kill.
17. To maintain activity, if you do not make a protect for 3 turns, a non officer can PM me a protection. If correct they will replace the inactive officer. Dead officers may be replaced in the same way. The PM will count as a protect. A non officer may only PM me one guess per hint and may only do so for 3 hints. In the event there is multiple correct PMs the second one will not count as one of the 3 guesses but will not become a officer.
