Idk if this is relevant, but FFD is repeated 5 times in the "so many colors" thing.
EDIT: Ok, so this is how I took the clue to mean: the glorious sunset part meant the colors visible during the sunset. The route from Montana to Oklahoma getting shorter meant the shorter lights waves of the sunset. If you search up colors of sunset, they say that the shorter light waves (blue and violet) are scattered, therefore creating red. That's irrelevant, however. If you search up the color code for blue, it's 0000FF which is located in the middle of the first line. If you search up the things under it, they should all be colors (I'm not sure, but I checked the first couple and they worked). I'll check it later, when I have time and update this.

Hey guys! So apparently there are 5398 characters in the message code, but hex code ( for colors ) only works in multiples of 6 and 5398/6= not evenly divisible. So..... I tried using plain hex code, where only 2 charecters are needed for a byte. I couldn't get anything but (keep in mind it might be a mistake on my part because I don't know that much about code) I get error results and something about UTF-8.............
