What are your best "technically..." facts based on niche or pedantic definitions?

Technically the entire eastern US* mainland is an island because it is surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic Ocean, the St. Lawrence Seaway/Great Lakes, a few canals, and the Mississippi river (known as the "Great Loop", which is completely navigable to small enough boats) (and it is also smaller than a continent for a reasonable island definition).

*Plus some of Canada

No excessive use of caps. Use of caps lock constitutes yelling, which is disruptive. This also applies to usernames.

Technically, it's not excessive if it has a purpose, in which it is to be abbreviations. If you would rather my nick be all lowercase and be really long, go for it ;)

Technically, excessively long nicks can be disruptive enough to the flow of the chat to be considered spam or flooding, so enforcing a maximum length of unintelligible nicks is something we are well within our rights to do. Also, technically there are no loopholes around the caps rule, as this is an excessively long abbreviation and thus qualifies as an excessive use of caps. :P
