Canada, Mexico, and USA.

It'll also be the first cup with 48 teams, up from 32. Inauguration will be in the estadio azteca.

I believe the US city list may get cut down slightly, but there will still be 15-20 stadiums total. They can't physically host that amount of games without using many different locations.

They were offered, but declined.
Matthew McGrath, a spokesman for Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel wrote:FIFA could not provide a basic level of certainty on some major unknowns that put our city and taxpayers at risk. The uncertainty for taxpayers, coupled with FIFA’s inflexibility and unwillingness to negotiate, were clear indications that further pursuit of the bid wasn’t in Chicago’s best interests.

Yet I call B.S. :x They have hosted Copa America which is a MAJOR event. The economic benefits would be huge for Chicago. Still salty
