I realize Boomilevers is part of a cycle, but this is just a guess right? I looked back and have seen other events besides towers and bridges. One was a B division catapult launch and others.

Boomilevers is listed on the SOSI list for both B and C. Boomilevers has been run before, so SOSI is unlikely to discover some major flaw in the rules that would require a change of plan.

Currently, I have multiple designs for a boom but I was wondering if you guys think a tension or compression boom is better?

Based on previous years rules, you will have part of it in tension and the rest in compression.

Interesting. Think they will have a bonus in place like towers? :?:

In my foggy memory, I think that there was only penalties and no bonuses. You do get rated on dimensions as well as load carried-I think.

For 2013/2014, there wasn't any bonus, scoring was just efficiency and any penalties. My guess is that they wouldn't have a bonus the first year boomilever rotates back in.

Boomilever is complicated enough without a bonus.

I’m confused about how we have to build the boomilever so it can attach to the wall. Or I guess what the little piece to attach to wall looks like. Can we just google the rules from past or do you guys just have them?
