if you get your wood from specialized balsa, it’s only a 30min drive from colorado state, and build in colorado before nats

Thats really risky have a backup

I already have a backup. But I built a month ago, and hopefully the glue has not deteriorated. I will build a couple more through.

My partner and I are trying to figure out when to build our final tower for nationals. How much weaker do towers get over time? We are looking at building on the Sunday, Tuesday, or Friday the week of the competition.

First, you should read the past few pages in this thread. And I would build a couple days before nationals.

You'll be at PA states this weekend right? I think it should be fine, but I'm building mine tomorrow.

We recently tested some towers we made last year and they were fine. As long as you store them in a dry location, they should be good.
